Fluids complete mechanical models with pressure and flow
Rigid-body mechanics explains motion, but many machines are driven or limited by fluids.
In an engine, pump, turbine, HVAC loop, or wind system, pressure, density, temperature, mass flow, and losses shape the mechanical output. A multibody model without fluid behavior can describe geometry and inertia but miss the source of energy transfer.
Fluid mechanics is the missing half when moving bodies exchange energy through gases or liquids.
